All campers must have reached their 9th birthday and/or completed third grade. No campers will be accepted who have graduated from high school.
All camper medication is registered on Sunday at Camp Check In. The certified camp staff assists campers with their daily medication schedule. Parents must sign in all medications at registration. Medication forms must be signed by the dispensing physician, per CT state law!
Monday through Thursday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 swimmers have free time supervised by the coaches.
CAMP SECURITY & SAFETY
No campers are permitted off campus, nor are campers permitted visitors without the Camp Director’s approval. We look after each camper as though they are our own. We always walk together to and from all camp venues. Every camp begins with a Sunday evening fire drill.
Campers live in the New Dorm at The Ethel Walker School (air-conditioned). Bring a friend(s) and know your roommate(s) before you arrive at camp. Use the application for your camp reservation and make a copy for a roommate(s)!
Camp is always a lot of fun and hard work. Camp rules are clearly defined in the first camp meeting. No drugs, smoking, or alcohol are permitted in camp. Any infraction of camp rules will result in immediate expulsion from camp with none of the fee being refunded.

CAMP BANK & STORE
We recommend that campers keep their spending money in the Camp Bank for safety and easy withdrawal. The Camp Bank and store are open every day.
All campers and parents entering The Ethel Walker School buildings will have to show proof of being vaccinated. If you attended the 2022 camp no need to show proof of vaccination again in 2023.
A nonrefundable deposit of $TBD is required on every accepted application. The full fee includes all instruction by coaches and college athletes, room and board, and 24-hour supervision by resident coaches. USSC reserves the right to accept or reject any application.
There is no application deadline. We limit enrollment to provide our campers with an efficient coach: swimmer ratio, so please register early.
An email confirming your registration will be sent upon receipt of your deposit. All required physical and medical forms can be found under "REGISTER" on the USSC navigation bar above. The original Physical Form must be presented at Camp Check In.
PLEASE NOTE: Balance of payment is due by June 1, 2023.
NO checks will be accepted at Camp Check In. All payments must be made in advance through the free to you USSC PayPal account. Our coaches want to spend their time with the campers, not doing paperwork.
CAMP CHECK IN
Check in will be from 12:00 noon to 1:45 pm on the Sunday commencing each week of camp.
Follow the swim camp signs to Camp Check In. Campers must report at Check In to be assigned a room and roommate(s) and to report any illnesses, allergies, special medication, etc.
Campers and their parents are expected to attend the 2:00 pm meeting, with campers dressed to participate. The week's agenda, coaches, counselors, etc. will be available at this meeting.
Camp ends Friday at 12:00 noon. Parents can report at 9:00 am and enjoy a two- to three-hour review of our week at camp.

All deposits of accepted applications are nonrefundable. All camp fees are nonrefundable.
